Warehouse Associate / Forklift Driver 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift 8 to 10-hour shifts

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Driver to join our team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for safely operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift, loading and unloading trailers, moving materials throughout the warehouse, staging products, and assisting with inventory and shipping activities.

The facility operates multiple shifts, so candidates must be open to working 8 to 10-hour shifts and flexible to work other shifts if business needs change. Currently, the primary need is for 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to load and unload trailers and semi-trucks
• Move, stack, and organize pallets, reusable plastic containers, and packaging materials
• Stage products and materials throughout the warehouse
• Use RF scanners to scan and track inventory
• Process inventory according to established work instructions
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities
• Complete required shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork
• Verify products and shipments for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and general OSHA guidelines
• Perform other warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required
• Experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift preferred
• Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Experience using RF scanners is a plus
• Ability to safely lift, move, and organize warehouse materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work 8 to 10-hour shifts
• Must be willing to work 1st shift and remain flexible to other shifts based on business needs
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
